4) Virat Kohli

Kohli had a relatively quiet WTC cycle by his high standards. His average fell down to 32.65 as he scored 751 runs in 14 matches. The former India skipper smashed a couple of hundreds and made 3 fifties, with 121 being his best score.

Emerging as the star performer for India, Yashasvi lit up the WTC cycle with his consistent and dynamic batting. The left-handed opener smashed 1,798 runs in 19 matches at an impressive average of 52.88. His contributions included four centuries and 10 half-centuries, with an unbeaten 214 being his standout performance. Jaiswal finished as the second-highest run-scorer in the WTC cycle, only behind England’s Joe Root, who tallied 1,968 runs.
