Major League Cricket (MLC) franchises have announced their retained and released player lists ahead of the 2025 draft, scheduled on February 19. The six teams have made strategic roster adjustments, leading to several high-profile international players entering the player pool.

Defending champions Washington Freedom retained 15 players—the highest among all teams—but opted to release Travis Head, who was their joint-highest run-scorer last season.

Among the notable domestic players not retained are MI New York’s Steven Taylor, Seattle Orcas’ Shehan Jayasuriya and Washington Freedom’s Jasdeep Singh.
