The three-time IPL champion has selected Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Gujarat Titans as his top four teams for the season.

“Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Gujarat Titans,” Gilchrist confidently stated when asked about his semifinal predictions.

The legendary cricketer showed strong faith in Punjab Kings, citing their well-balanced squad and the influence of Australian cricketing minds in the franchise.

“Punjab Kings! Got a few Aussies there. Got an Aussie leading at Ricky Ponting and a terrific captain (Shreyas Iyer) who loves the coach,” Gilchrist added.
