Known for her glamorous presence and massive social media following, Urvashi has revealed in a recent interview with Filmygyan that she’s supporting two teams this season: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). While fans appreciated her love for the game, the mention of LSG has reignited old rumours linking her with star cricketer Rishabh Pant, who now captains the Lucknow franchise.
Pant’s name has been associated with Urvashi since 2022, when the actress referred to someone named “RP” in an interview. At the time, fans quickly assumed it was Pant. Although Urvashi later clarified that “RP” referred to her co-actor Ram Pothineni, the speculations had already taken off, and they’ve refused to die down ever since.
Urvashi flips her choice
The gossip mill got a fresh push this year when fans noticed a shift in Urvashi’s team loyalties. In IPL 2024, she had supported RCB and Delhi Capitals (DC) – the team Pant was then leading. But ahead of the 2025 season, Pant made a high-profile move to LSG for a massive ₹27 crore deal. Interestingly, Urvashi’s preferences changed as well: this time, it’s RCB and Lucjnow getting her cheer.
The timing hasn’t gone unnoticed. Social media has erupted with memes and cheeky comments, with fans suggesting that Urvashi’s team switch was driven by her connection to Pant. Comments like “She follows wherever Rishabh goes” and “New team, same reason” have flooded platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Some have even dismissed it as a publicity stunt.

However, there’s no verified evidence to support the ongoing rumours. In fact, according to several reports, Pant is currently in a relationship with Isha Negi, and the couple’s pictures have been doing the rounds online, reinforcing the claim that he has moved on from past speculations.
For her part, Urvashi hasn’t responded to the chatter. She continues to post regularly about her projects and fashion moments but remains tight-lipped on anything related to her personal life.
