This monumental achievement came during a commanding performance by Delhi Capitals against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025, where the Capitals asserted their dominance early in the match.

KL Rahul surpasses Sanju Samson’s IPL record

Rahul reached the coveted milestone in just his 129th IPL innings, a remarkable feat that significantly surpassed the previous record held by Sanju Samson, who took 159 innings to achieve the same. The record-breaking six, a towering shot launched over long-on, came in the third over of Delhi Capitals’ innings off the bowling of Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj.
