BCCI vice-president opens up about the future India-Pakistan matches
Earlier, in a recent interview, the BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla emphasized that the board’s stance on India-Pakistan cricket ties is guided by the Indian government’s position.
“We don’t play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government stand, and we will not play with Pakistan in bilaterals going forward,” Shukla reiterated that the BCCI’s policy with Pakistan remains unchanged.
The BCCI’s decision is influenced by various factors, including national security concerns and diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan. While India and Pakistan participate only in the ICC events, bilateral cricket ties between the two nations are almost zero.
