Opting to bat first after winning the toss, England Women posted a formidable total of 366/6 in their allotted 50 overs. The innings was built on a sensational opening partnership between Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones. Beaumont continued her excellent form, smashing 106 runs off 109 balls, including 12 fours and a six. However, it was Jones who stole the show, scoring a magnificent 129 runs off just 98 deliveries, decorated with a remarkable 20 boundaries. Their monumental 202-run stand laid the perfect foundation. England Women have now won both ODIs convincingly, following their 108-run victory in the 1st ODI. The series will conclude on Saturday, June 7, at The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, where England will look to complete a clean sweep.
