However, in the massive uncontrolled crowds, a tragic stampede unfolded. The overwhelming rush, fueled by emotion and poor crowd control, led to the heartbreaking loss of 11 lives. Families who came to share in the joy were left shattered, as a day meant for history turned into one of horror. In response, RCB have announced aid for the families of the deceased in the event.

RCB announces support for victims’ families

Following the tragic stampede in Bengaluru, RCB took social media expressed deep sorrow over the incident, calling it a moment of immense pain for the entire RCB family. As a gesture of solidarity, the franchise announced a financial aid of INR 10 lakh each to the families of the 11 deceased. Additionally, they have launched a fund named RCB Cares to assist fans who were injured during the incident. The franchise reaffirmed that their fans remain central to everything they do and shared their grief with those affected.

RCB’s official account on X posted, “The unfortunate incident in Bengaluru yesterday has caused a lot of anguish and pain to the RCB family. As a mark of respect and a gesture of solidarity, RCB has announced a financial support of INR 10 lakh to each of the eleven families of the deceased. In addition, a fund called RCB Cares is also being created to support fans injured in this tragic incident. “Our fans will always remain at the heart of everything that we do. We remain united in grief.”
