The itinerary features visits from five different international teams, ensuring a busy calendar for both the men’s and women’s national sides.

The men’s team will host four major nations: Australia, England, South Africa and the West Indies, while the White Ferns will take on South Africa and Zimbabwe in a series of bilateral encounters.

The men’s international summer will begin with a thrilling three-match T20I series against Australia on October 1, 3 and 4, expected to ignite traditional Trans-Tasman rivalry. Following this, England will tour New Zealand for six white-ball matches,  three T20Is scheduled on October 18, 20 and 23, followed by three ODIs on October 26, 29 and November 1. South Africa’s men’s side will arrive for a five-match T20I series later in the summer for the top-tier T20 action. However, the biggest attraction may be the multi-format series against the West Indies, which includes five T20Is, three ODIs, and three Test matches, a rare occurrence in modern scheduling that will test New Zealand’s depth across all formats.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand women’s team will also have a busy summer lined up in early 2026. The White Ferns are set to kickstart their home season in February by hosting Zimbabwe for a six-match series comprising three T20Is and three ODIs. This marks a rare bilateral series between the two sides and offers Zimbabwe valuable exposure on the global stage.

Following this, New Zealand women will shift focus to a highly anticipated series against South Africa in March and April 2026. This contest will include five T20Is and three ODIs, providing both teams with ample preparation ahead of the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup.
