The Max60 Caribbean is all set to make a thrilling return in 2025, with its second edition scheduled from July 17 to July 24 at the picturesque Jimmy Powell Oval in the Cayman Islands. After a blockbuster debut season, the excitement around the unique 60-ball format has only intensified, and fans can expect even more fireworks this time around.
Caribbean Tigers aim to roar again
The Caribbean Tigers, reigning champions from the inaugural season, will look to continue their dominance. Led by experience and packed with flair, they’ll be under the spotlight as they try to fend off strong challenges from the likes of Vegas Vikings, Boca Raton Trailblazers, Grand Cayman Jaguars, and Cayman Bay Stingrays. With every game taking place at the same venue, teams will have to adapt quickly to the conditions and bring their A-game right from the start.
Global cricket stars headline the carnival
This year’s Max60 will witness a star-studded cast, with some of the biggest names in world cricket gracing the Caribbean shores. Fans can gear up to see the explosive David Warner, classy Dawid Malan, hard-hitting Carlos Brathwaite, crafty all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, and in-form Aaron Johnson lighting up the field.
Also joining the action are Angelo Perera, Gerhard Erasmus, India’s all-rounder Rishi Dhawan, and English powerhouse Alex Hales, promising a truly global flavor to the tournament.
