The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially unveiled the anthem for the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, titled “Bring it Home.”

Shreya Ghoshal lends her voice to Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 anthem

Sung by India’s celebrated playback artist Shreya Ghoshal, the song captures the passion, perseverance, and unity of women’s cricket ahead of the much-awaited global event in India and Sri Lanka.

The anthem was released across digital platforms on Friday, marking the beginning of the build-up to the marquee tournament. With its energetic rhythm and inspiring lyrics, “Bring it Home” is set to become the rallying cry for players and fans.

The anthem draws on strong, uplifting imagery to celebrate the grit and determination of women cricketers. Its catchy hook lines – “Tarikita Tarikita Tarikita Dhom” and the pulsating “Dhak Dhak, we bring it home” – reflect the heartbeat of the tournament and the excitement that builds around it.

Lyrically, the anthem speaks to overcoming obstacles and rewriting history: “Patthar pighlana hai, Ek naya itihas banana hai (We have to melt stones and forge a new history).”

The words are both a tribute to the past and a call to the future, symbolizing how women’s cricket continues to break barriers and inspire new generations.

For Ghoshal lending her voice to the World Cup anthem was a moment of pride. Sharing her excitement, she said:

“It has been a wonderful experience to be part of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 through the official event song that celebrates the spirit, strength, and unity of women’s cricket. I hope it inspires fans and creates lasting memories as we celebrate this exciting tournament.”

Ghoshal’s involvement adds a global star factor to the anthem, with her distinct voice bringing both power and emotion to the track.
