India’s batting performance led by Samson
Batting first, India posted a competitive total of 188/8 in their 20 overs. The innings was built around Samson’s steady knock of 56 off 45 balls, which included three fours and three towering sixes. His composed approach provided much-needed stability after the early loss of wickets.
Alongside Samson, young opener Abhishek Sharma played a fiery cameo, smashing 38 runs off just 15 deliveries.
