India’s young batting star Shubman Gill not only garners attention for his cricketing prowess but also stays in the limelight for his rumoured romantic association with Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar. It is believed that Shubman and Sara have been in a private relationship for some time.
However, the focus of fans recently shifted completely to Shubman’s cricketing performance with the commencement of the ODI World Cup 2023, as people want the youngster to carry his form and help India clinch the coveted trophy for the third time.
But unfortunately the anticipation of fans received a setback with a recent update from the Indian camp, confirming that Shubman is suffering from dengue fever and has, therefore, been ruled out of India’s first game against Australia in the ODI World Cup 2023 on Sunday (October 8).

Fact Check: Did Sara Tendulkar actually tweet for Shubman Gill’s speedy recovery?
It is widely known that Sara is not officially on Twitter, and her sole active social media platform is Instagram. She maintains a substantial fan following on Instagram and frequently shares photos from her personal life. It’s important to note that neither Shubman nor Sara has confirmed their relationship or reacted to the ongoing rumours, so their romantic involvement remains unconfirmed. Hence, the account by the name of ‘Sara Tendulkar’ is fake.
