MS Dhoni‘s wife Sakshi, who was once one of a director of the real estate Amrapali Group has been summoned by a Delhi court alongside the chairman of the group and other directors.
The court has demanded the presence of Sakshi Dhoni in February after a west Delhi-based resident claimed delays in the possession of a flat in a commercial project by the real estate group at Greater Noida.
Along with Sakshi Dhoni, civil judge Aditi Garg has also asked the chairman of the group and other directors to appear before the court.

In 2007, Anita Kumar and Padma Chand, the residents of Vishnu Garden invested Rs 10 lakhs in a 550 square feet flat in the proposed Amrapali IT Park on assured returns basis.
Since then, they haven’t got the possession of the flat and the assured returns as well.
Anita Kumar and Padma Chand moved court after the real estate group gave them dishonoured cheques in the name of assured returns.
They have filed a recovery suit of approximately a lakh with an interest of 24 per cent.
Sumit Kaushal, the advocate for the victims said that Sakshi Dhoni has been made party to the case as she had 25 per cent share in the group at the time of the project launch.
As per the reports in Daily mail, Kaushal told that his clients invested in the group as Dhoni was the ambassador of the group.
‘Earlier, my clients were getting returns at 14 per cent interest but now since last year even that has stopped. They have given the post dated cheques but they have been dishonoured.’
In July 2016, Amrapali wrote to its investors claiming that the real estate group is finding it difficult to pay the assured returns and maintain the momentum of construction at the same time, due to recession in the real estate market and cash flow.
