PHOTOS: When Team India’s new captain Virat Kohli failed to notice a little kid who approached him for a selfie

In the first ODI of the series between India and England played at Pune, Indian team registered a 3 wickets win under their new captain Virat Kohli.

Chasing a mammoth total of 351 runs, India beat England with an impressive six by all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin on the first ball of 49th over.

As soon as the right-hander smashed a six off Moeen Ali, the entire stadium erupted with joy. Considering this match was Kohli’s first ODI as full-time captain, his joy seemed understandable.

When the stadium was filled with a happy streak, a young kid from the crowd managed to make his way upto Virat, holding a mobile phone in his hand. The young Kohli fan approached the 28 year-old for a selfie but he failed to notice the kid and continued to enjoy that victory moment.

The lad tried his best for a while to get a photo alongside the star batsman and at last remained unsuccessful.

It was all-rounder Hardik Pandya who finally stepped up and granted the little kid his wish.
