Cheteshwar Pujara was born on 25th January in 1988 at Rajkot, Gujarat. He is a right-handed batsman who was selected for the Indian squad for the 2 match home Test series against Australia in 2010. He made his debut in the second Test of the series on 9th October 2010 at Bangalore.

Pujara has play in three ODI matches, all against Bangladesh in June 2014 scoring 0, 11 & 27 respectively.
