Rashid Khan bamboozles Heinrich Klaasen
The critical breakthrough occurred in the 14th over of the innings when Rashid delivered a deceptive googly that darted towards the stumps. Klaasen, attempting to dispatch the ball over mid-wicket, misjudged the line completely, resulting in his stumps being shattered. Visibly frustrated by the dismissal, Klaasen expressed his anguish by thumping his bat.
Despite his departure, Klaasen had contributed 24 runs off just 13 deliveries, including a boundary and two sixes. The video clip of the dismissal quickly garnered attention from cricket enthusiasts worldwide.

Innings highlights
Prior to the game-changing moment, the Sunrisers had won the toss and elected to bat first, fielding an unchanged lineup from their previous match against the Mumbai Indians. Meanwhile, the Gujarat Titans made strategic changes, introducing Darshan Nalkande and Noor Ahmed into the playing XI in place of Sai Kishore and Spencer Johnson.
Eventually, the SunRisers managed to post a total of 162/8 in their allotted 20 overs, with Abhishek Sharma and Abdul Samad emerging as the top scorers, each contributing 29 runs to the team’s total.
“I think it’s a decent total on this kind of wicket, ball was gripping a bit, the spinners were also getting a bit of help. I was able to play with ease so I thought I should get more strike in the last over. Initially, we got a good start in the powerplay so we were thinking about 180, but looking at the wicket, 160 is also a good score,” said Abdul after the end of first innings.
