In a display of sportsmanship, former Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma was seen urging the crowd to stop booing current skipper Hardik Pandya during their IPL 2024 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The video and pictures capturing the moment have gone viral on social media.
This comes amidst Hardik facing criticism from a section of the home crowd ever since taking over the captaincy from Rohit. The boos continued at the Wankhede Stadium, prompting commentator Sanjay Manjrekar to request silence from the fans.
