During the fourth ODI match between New Zealand and South Africa at Seddon Park in Hamilton, the Blackcaps opener Martin Guptill smashed 11 sixes to score 180 runs off just 138 balls.
This score by Guptill is now the highest score by a New Zealander in a chase, and the fourth-highest overall.
Also, Guptill has now scored 180+ scores three times in ODI’s which is the most among all current playing batsmen in world cricket. The Kiwi opener is now ahead of India’s Rohit Sharma, who has scored 180+ runs two times in 50 overs format.
