Old fan vows to walk to Delhi to watch CSK’s Match
“I will walk all the way to Delhi,” declared Ramdas when asked if he would travel to Delhi to watch a CSK match. CSK boasts one of the largest fanbases in the IPL, with some truly dedicated Super Fans. However, none quite compare to Ramdas, who still fondly remembers Dhoni as the captain of the five-time champions.
“Oh Yes” says S Ramdas on meeting MS Dhoni
Soon-to-be 104-year-old Ramdas, a die-hard CSK fan, Ramdas expressed his love for the fast-paced nature of T20 cricket. What he particularly enjoys is that it doesn’t drag on like some of the longer cricket formats. Despite being 103 years old, Ramdas’ love for cricket remains strong. When his son asked about meeting Dhoni, his answer was a resounding “Oh yes!”
“While I was studying school, I was interested in cricket. But I was also afraid of getting hit. I used to bowl. “I love cricket, but I am afraid of playing cricket. I watch it on TV. 20 overs games finish quickly. They don’t drag on. I like it,” he said.
