Indian cricket icon Rohit Sharma turned 37 on Tuesday, April 30. Widely regarded as one of the finest batsmen in modern cricket, Rohit captains the Indian team across all formats.

Rohit Sharma has numerous records to his name

His natural talent and stroke-playing mastery have propelled him to superstardom. Fans affectionately call him “Hitman” for his ability to demolish bowling attacks with ease. His impressive career statistics speak volumes – nearly 4,000 T20I runs, over 10,000 ODI runs, and over 4,000 Test runs across 151, 262, and 59 matches respectively.

Rohit holds the unique distinction of being the only batsman with three double centuries in ODIs and five centuries in T20Is. His leadership qualities have also shone brightly. As captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL, he  led them to a record-breaking five IPL titles.
