Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) witnessed a moment of brilliance from Virat Kohli on the field during their IPL 2024 match against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday. The incident, which occurred in the 13th over of GT’s innings, saw Kohli produce a spectacular run-out to dismiss the dangerous Shahrukh Khan.
Virat Kohli’s Lightning Quick Reflexes
With RCB aiming for a hat-trick of wins, the pressure was on to restrict the GT batting unit. The opportunity arose when Rahul Tewatia played a shot towards the off-side. Kohli, positioned inside the circle, displayed exceptional reflexes. He gathered the ball cleanly, turned in a single motion, and fired a rocket throw towards the non-striker’s end.

RCB Restricts GT for 147
Riding on the momentum of Kohli’s heroics, RCB’s bowlers tightened their grip on the match. Mohammed Siraj (2/29), Yash Dayal (2/21) and Vijaykumar Vyshak (2/23) shared six wickets between them, restricting the GT batting line-up for a below-par total of 147 in 19.3 overs.
