Bhuvneshwar Kumar names three people he wants to take on a deserted island

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a mean machine with the cricket ball, getting it to talk with his wrist and fingertips. Soft-spoken and humble, Bhuvi has the hidden skill to crack up those around him with his subtle humour. His work on the cricket field is for all to see.

Well, during the BCCI Award ceremony, in a candid interview with Star Sports, Bhuvi opened up and named the three persons he would take to a deserted island.

The faster bowler picked former Indian team director Ravi Shastri, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor and India’s most successful skipper MS Dhoni in his list of three.

While Shraddha Kapoor is an obvious choice as many men in the world drool over the pretty girl, one did not expect the names of Dhoni and Shastri in the list.

But, it should not be that surprising as both MSD and Shastri have played an important part in Bhuvi’s career. Shastri was the team director of the Indian team when Bhuvneshwar broke into the side and the former right-hander always believed in the youngster’s abilities.

Dhoni being the skipper of the Indian team at that time has led Bhuvneshwar for the most part of his career and the player has a huge respect for his former captain.
