However between all this, a viral tweet ignited widespread speculation surrounding Komal’s alleged involvement with Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper, Shubman Gill. The tweet, featuring a picture of Komal alongside Gill, surfaced from an account purportedly belonging to Komal.

Captioned with “with crush Shubman gill,” the post fueled rumors and conjecture about a potential  affiliation between the two. As social media buzzed with discussions and interpretations of the image, the narrative surrounding Komal and Gill’s purported connection gained significant traction, capturing the attention of online audiences.

Truth behind the viral tweet

Nevertheless, it’s important to clarify that this account is not an official X account of Komal. She reportedly maintains only one social media presence, on Instagram, where she shared a similar picture with a caption “Though the match was abandoned due to rain, it was still a fantastic day! Met with my favorites, and we qualified for the playoffs. Congrats to the whole team! So happy and excited for the next step,”

Additionally, it’s noteworthy that Shubman and Abhishek  both hail from Punjab and have been friends since childhood. Therefore, it can be inferred that Komal has known Gill since childhood as well. Furthermore, she is seven years older than him and according to the fans Gill further considers her as her elder sister.
