Sakshi Dhoni, wife of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, expressed her disappointment, after a photo giving away all the details of her husband’s Aadhaar card was shared on the micro-blogging website-Twitter.
Sakshi was involved in a Twitter conversation with I&B minister Ravi Shankar Prasad expressing her displeasure over the private information of MS Dhoni, which was made public.
The fiasco started with a seemingly innocuous looking tweet by @CSCeGOV_ yesterday. In the post, Dhoni was seen authenticating fingerprints for Aadhaar registration.
“Ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his family get their Aadhaar updated at VLE Mariya Farooqui’s CSE at Ranchi, Jharkhand”, the post reads.
Prasad was tagged in the tweet which included a photograph of the star cricketer with a CSC representative and another of his personal details.
However, the tweet was later deleted.
But, as expected, fuming Sakshi in her twitter post, which also tagged IT minister, asked: “is there any privacy left ?”
The minister was prompt to reply and he too agreed that ‘sharing personal information is illegal’ and promised action to be taken.
