Former skipper of Team India, MS Dhoni, added another feather in his cap when he was appointed as the CEO of Gulf Oil India for a day.
A beaming picture of Dhoni while being seated in the CEO’s chair was tweeted by the firm and within few minutes the picture became viral on different social media platforms.
The star cricketer was dressed for the occasion in a blue suit, white shirt and a tie as he took charge Gulf Oil India at the company’s Mumbai head office.
Dhoni’s friend and manager Arun Pandey spoke to Sportstar and said that both parties have been trying to fix this day for a long time now.
“As a CEO of the company for the day, Mahi has attended all the special meetings of the company. He will also take quite a few decisions, just like a real CEO.”
“Mahi’s association with the company goes back a long way, and for a long time, he also wanted to understand how a corporate CEO works,” Pandey was quoted as saying to Sportstar.
Dhoni was named as the brand ambassador for Gulf Oil in 2011. “He wanted to try this out too,” Pandey said about Dhoni being CEO for a day.
