Team India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been ruled out for the tenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) due to sports hernia injury. However, that hasn’t stopped him from being involved with the T20 extravaganza.
On Tuesday, Ashwin announced his fantasy IPL team for Gen Next Cricket Academy, an academy mentored by him. He chose new skipper of Pune franchise, Steve Smith in his team along with Bangladesh’s pace sensation, Mustafizur Rahman. He filled the other two overseas slot with newly appointed Kings XI Punjab skipper Glenn Maxwell and debutant of this season, Ben Stokes in his side.
