Rising Pune Supergiant wicket-keeper MS Dhoni showed his cleverness once again on the field during the 2nd game of the IPL 2017.
Dhoni first denied to complete a single when he lofted the shot straight into the hands of Mumbai Indians fielder Tim Southee. But when Southee dropped his catch then MSD completed a run. It all happened because Dhoni didn’t want the inform batsman Steve Smith to change the side if the catch was complete.
Pune Supergiants required more than 13 runs to win at that moment and new batsman would have faced difficulty while batting on the Pune pitch.
