Delhi Daredevils’ Chris Morris created an IPL record of the highest strike rate in an innings (minimum 25 runs) during his scintillating knock of 38 runs from just 9 balls.

Morris, who came to bat after the fall of centurion Sanju Samson‘s wicket smashed the Rising Pune Supergiant bowlers all over the park in the final two overs.

The previous IPL record was held by his countryman Albie Morkel, who back in 2012, scored 28 runs off just 7 balls at a strike rate of 400 during CSK’s memorable chase of 207 against RCB.
