India emerged victorious in the five-match T20I series against hosts Zimbabwe, securing a 4-1 victory. Despite a setback in the opening match, where they lost by 13 runs, the Shubman Gill-led side made an impressive comeback to win the remaining four games comprehensively.

After this dominant performance, India will now turn their attention to their upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. The tour will feature three T20Is and three ODIs, with the white-ball leg set to begin on July 27.

Squads

The squads for both teams are yet to be announced. Additionally, Sri Lanka will need to name their new T20I captain following the departure of Wanindu Hasaranga.

According to reports, Hardik Pandya is poised to be appointed as India’s T20I captain following Rohit Sharma’s retirement. KL Rahul will take charge of the Indian ODI team until Rohit returns to his role in the 50-over format.
