WATCH: Manoj Tiwary completes two runs with a broken bat against Gujarat Lions

IPL 2017: During a T20 match played between Gujarat Lions (GL) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) at Rajkot, the RPS batsman Manoj Tiwary had to complete a run with only the handle and a little part of the remaining willow after his bat broke into two pieces.

This all happened in the penultimate over of Pune’s innings when Tiwary tried to squeeze out a yorker from the Gujarat Lions bowler Praveen Kumar.

Tiwari’s bat broke from the middle and he managed to place his shot between long-on and deep mid-wicket before setting off for a couple of runs. He had to make a dive for completing the second run.
