IPL 2017: MS Dhoni once again showed his master-class behind the stumps as he effected a superb run out off Sunil Narine during the match between Rising Pune Supergiant and Kolkata Knight Riders at Pune.
It happened in the third over of KKR innings when Gautam Gambhir played a shot off spinner Washington Sundar towards short fine leg and ran quickly to steal a single.
But a great piece of work from Shardul Thakur, who stopped the ball quickly and threw it towards the keeper’s end, where Dhoni was standing and the latter just flicked the ball on to the stumps. The ball hit the stumps and Dhoni immediately appealed and the umpires straightaway upstairs. The replays also showed Narine was outplayed by Dhoni’s brilliance.
