IPL 2017: During a T20 match played between the Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiant, RPS wicket-keeper MS Dhoni once again showed why he is an undisputed king behind the stumps with yet another brilliant glove-work to run out Lions middle-order batsman Dinesh Karthik.
In the final over of first innings, Basil Thampi was on strike against Jaydev Unadkat. The left-arm pacer bowled a slower and Thampi swung his bat wildly only to miss it. Karthik, at the non-striker’s end, wanted the strike in the last ball and set off.
But Dhoni collected the ball and fired a direct hit at the striker’s end to send Karthik back to the pavilion.
