WATCH: Suresh Raina consoling Rishabh Pant during an IPL match

During a T20 match played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and the Gujarat Lions (GL) at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, GL skipper Suresh Raina won the respect of fans and experts after his gesture following the dismissal of Daredevils’ young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant.

Pant played scintillating innings against the Lions, ended up scoring 97 off just 43 balls smashing six fours and nine gigantic sixes.

The southpaw was disappointed as he missed his maiden IPL century by just 3 runs. The sadness was visible on his face and it seemed as if the young cricketer did not want to walk himself out of the ground.

In what was a very appreciative signal, Raina came forward and consoled Pant with his words of wisdom.
