IPL 2017: During a T20 match played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, RPS wicket-keeper MS Dhoni managed to pull off a blinder catch to dismiss DD’s middle order batsman Marlon Samuels.
The incident occurred in the 14th over of first innings, when Samuels tried to heave a short delivery bowled by Daniel Christian to the boundary. But he misjudged the bounce of the ball and could only manage a top edge. However, the deflection appeared to be clearing Dhoni and heading for the fine leg boundary when Dhoni pulled off one of the best catches of the IPL so far. MSD took a step backward, timed his jump up to perfection before grasping the ball.
