Chris Gayle reprises infamous “Don’t Blush, Baby” line for a new condom ad

West Indies star opener Chris Gayle has cashed in on the “don’t blush, baby” controversy that marred his Big Bash League campaign in 2015/16, repeating the phrase in a cringe-worthy commercial for an Indian condom company ‘Skore’.

Dressed entirely in black and sitting backward on a white chair in front of a completely white screen, Gayle looks directly into the camera and said: “Listen me. I’m not a bad man. I’m only a bad boy.

“Bad boy to bowlers, bad boy to fielders cause they don’t want me that way.”

At that stage, a girl who is in black minidress-wearing fishnet stockings and black heels walks in slowly, steps behind Gayle and places one hand on his shoulder. Then Gayle said: “Bad boy to girls — cause they want me that way. Don’t blush baby.

“Be bad. Be a champion.”

In January 2016, Jamaican cricketer found himself in hot water when he openly propositioned Sports Presenter Mel McLaughlin from Channel Ten during a post-match interview.

During the interview, Gayle had asked McLaughlin if she wanted to come out for a drink with him and added, the now infamous phrase, “Don’t blush baby”. The batsman was then fined $10,000 by the Renegades and was asked to apologize to Mel McLaughlin.
