WATCH: Ajinkya Rahane shows the spirit of cricket while fielding against Mumbai Indians

IPL 2017: Rising Pune Supergiant’s star player Ajinkya Rahane won million hearts with his incredible gesture during the first qualifier match against the Mumbai Indians.

Rahane saved a certain six hit by Mitchell McClenaghan, but unfortunately, his foot touched the boundary ropes. He sent the ball back to Steve Smith who then appealed for a catch. But Rahane signaled that he touched the ropes and it was a six.

Later the on-field umpires went upstairs to confirm if the catch was clean or it was a six. The third umpire confirmed a six and the fans, TV commentators lauded Rahane’s true spirit of cricket.
