USA have officially named their squads for the upcoming white ball series against Namibia, to be played at Wanderers cricket ground, Windhoek from September 16. The series will include both T20Is and ODIs. Monank Patel will be leading the USA team. The ODI squad is for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2, while the T20I squad is for the tri-series involving Namibia and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Saurabh Netravalkar included for the ODIs
Left-arm fast bowler Saurabh Netravalkar, who impressed for the USA in this year’s Men’s T20 World Cup with six wickets in as many matches, has been selected for the squad touring Namibia later this month. However, at 33, Netravalkar will participate only in the ODI part of the tour. He missed the USA’s recent tour of the Netherlands due to paternity leave. During his absence from the T20I squad, left-arm seamer Ayan Desai received his first national team call-up.
Aaron Jones unavailable, Steven Taylor ruled out
Aaron Jones has been excluded from the squad due to his participation in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Additionally, Steven Taylor will miss the Namibia tour because of an injury. Smit Patel and Milind Kumar have been added to the squad as replacements.

USA’s squads:
USA will play ODIs against hosts’ Namibia and the UAE from September 16 to 26, with the series being a part of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two 2023-27. The ODIs will be followed by four T20Is against the same teams, starting September 29.
