Earlier, Akash had received a special gift from Virat Kohli—a bat, which he proudly displayed in a social media post, thanking the star batter. On Day 4 of the Test, Akash came out to bat and made a statement, using Kohli’s bat to smash two consecutive sixes off Shakib Al Hasan’s bowling. Kohli, seated in the dugout, couldn’t contain his laughter and was visibly enjoying the moment, as were captain Rohit Sharma and the rest of the Indian team.

Yashasvi Jaiswal starred with the bat, scoring an entertaining 72 off 51 balls, while Shakib and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took four wickets apiece for Bangladesh. The Indian side played an aggressive brand of cricket, setting new records for the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 runs in Test history.
