List of top 10 run-scorers in the ICC Champions Trophy

ICC Champions Trophy 2017 began from 1st June. Well, you will be surprised to know that even after near two decades of its existence, no batsman has scored a 150 plus score in this big ICC event.

So far, the West Indies opener Chris Gayle is the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 791 runs followed by the Sri Lankan duo Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara with 742 and 683 runs respectively.

Sourav Ganguly is the leading run scorer for India with 665 runs and is also the highest scorer with unbeaten 141 runs till now.

Interestingly, none of the players who is in the top 10 list features in the ongoing Champions Trophy. Since West Indies didn’t qualify for the series this year, therefore, chances of Chris Gayle to increase his lead is not possible.
