Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who recently became a father, took to Twitter to announce the name of his baby girl.
Jadeja is currently playing in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England and has tweeted saying that he and his wife Reeva named the little princess as “Nidhyana”.
“We have named our bundle of joy and little princess ‘Nidhyana’,” Jaddu wrote.
Jadeja was unable to be present when his wife Reeva delivered a baby because he is on national duty.
In a video posted on a website of the official broadcaster of cricket matches in India, Star Sports, Jadeja said: “I had to leave my pregnant wife behind. Family matters a lot to me, but it was also necessary to be part of the team with an important match coming up against Pakistan.”
