A fiery altercation between Australia’s top-order batter Marnus Labuschagne and India’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj stole the limelight, showcasing the competitive spirit between the two cricketing giants.

Agitated by the delay, Siraj hurled the ball toward the stumps and exchanged animated gestures with Labuschagne, both players waved their arms at each other after Siraj threw the ball.

On the very next delivery, Labuschagne made a strong statement with his bat. He deftly guided a rising back-of-a-length delivery outside off-stump to the boundary, evading the fielder at backward point. The perfectly timed shot further rattled Siraj, who visibly displayed his frustration.

This isn’t the first time fans have witnessed tension between Siraj and Labuschagne in this series. A similar altercation had occurred during the first Test, hinting at an ongoing personal rivalry between the two players. Australia’s steady start

As the match moved into Day 2, Australia reached 127 for 3 at the Drinks break after 46 overs of their first innings. Labuschagne remained at the crease, holding the fort with a gritty 46 off 107 balls. Partnering him was Travis Head, who contributed 9 runs off 18 balls. India’s bowling spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, continued to shine, claiming all three Australian wickets to keep the visitors in contention.
