Table of Contents
The inaugural season of the Big Cricket League (BCL) 2024 is set to begin on December 12 and will run until December 22. The tournament will bring together a mix of international cricket legends and promising local talent from India, aiming to provide an exciting platform for competition.
Participating Teams and Venue
Six teams – MP Tigers, Mumbai Marines, Northern Challengers, Rajasthan Regals, Southern Spartans and UP Brij Stars – will compete in the league. Cricket fans will be treated to star-studded lineups featuring the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Lendl Simmons, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Herschelle Gibbs and Imran Tahir.
All 18 matches of the tournament will be held at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, Gujarat, ensuring a centralized and festive atmosphere for the T20 competition. The competition will follow a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals and culminating in a grand finale.
