Ridhima’s take on Shubman Gill

The daily soap actress had once reportedly called Shubman cute, signaling that she might contain an affinity with the Indian top-order batter. The 25-year-old and the actress became a hot topic of conversation in the glamour world. However, Ridhima recently shared her take on the suspected romance between her and Gill. Speculations even suggested that the two were set to tie the knot in December 2024, fueled by circulating photos and videos. However, Ridhima has humorously dismissed these rumors, clarifying that she has never even had the chance to meet Shubman Gill.

“I don’t know what to say about it man? How is this thing not dying down? Maybe people like the idea of me and him together but I have never met him and all my best wishes to him. But samaj nai aaya bhai yeh uda kaha se and come December the wedding was to happen, aisa kuch hua nai hai. It’s December but sorry to break your hearts but there is not much that is brewing there because I don’t know the person,’’ Ridhima said in an interview shared by Viral Bayani. She additionally said that she is currently focussing on her career and has kept her distance from associations with anyone.

A struggling Gill trying to regain his form with the bat

The top-order batter had a dreadful time with the Indian team during the recent trip to Australia for a 5-match Test series to defend the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The poor performance of Gill with the bat led to his dropping from the Indian team for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. Gill made a comeback in the team for the final match, but his form concerns continued.
With Champions Trophy 2025 around the corner, the Indian batter needs to focus on regaining his momentum and start making runs for the Indian team to establish himself as a regular starter in the squad once again.
