In a low scoring encounter during the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025, Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir brought a touch of movie flair to the cricket field with his celebration after dismissing Rohan Mustafa of the Sharjah Warriors. The match, held on Wednesday (January 22) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, showcased Amir’s exceptional bowling skills and his ability to entertain fans both on and off the pitch.
Mohammad Amir’s Pushpa celebration
Amir’s memorable moment came during the third over of Sharjah Warriors’ innings when he bowled a full-length delivery that shaped towards the pads. Mustafa attempted to flick the ball to the leg side but ended up with a leading edge that was easily caught by Sam Curran at mid-off. Following the dismissal, Amir celebrated in style by performing the iconic ‘Jhukega Nahi’ step from the Allu Arjun-starrer hit movie ‘Pushpa,’ which has become a popular cultural reference in recent times.
This celebration not only delighted fans in attendance but also quickly went viral on social media, with many sharing clips of Amir’s performance.
