Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been handed a one-Test ban by the ICC on Monday took a slight dig at the cricket governing body by posting a sarcastic message on his Twitter.
The southpaw chose a dramatic line from a Bollywood movie ‘Dilwale’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol to share his sorrow.
“Hum sharif kya hue puri duniya hi badmash ho gayi,” his post read, which means: “The entire world has gone notorious when I decided to turn good”.

After the second Test, Jadeja was banned by the ICC for throwing a ball towards the Sri Lankan batsman, which was deemed dangerous by the match referee and this demerit point, coupled with his 3 demerit points from his last offense, resulted in him being banned for the Pallekele Test.

The world No.1 bowler in Test cricket admitted his guilt in throwing the ball at Malinda Pushpakumara after fielding it off his own bowling but through his Twitter, he perhaps highlighted what he believes was ironical.
