Schedule and squads for Duleep Trophy 2017-18 announced

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule and squads for the Duleep Trophy which will start off the 2017-18 Indian domestic season.

Lucknow and Kanpur will be the venues for the four matches in this Duleep Trophy. The tournament, which wasn’t included in the domestic season by the BCCI, until yesterday returned after Sourav Ganguly‘s letter and CoA’s involvement.

The tournament which will be played from September 7th to 29th will see three teams – India Red, India Green, and India Blue. Abhinav Mukund, Parthiv Patel and Suresh Raina have been named as captains respectively.

Like last year, the tournament featuring 45 cricketers will be played with the pink ball and under floodlights.

Schedule:

Match 1: India Red vs India Green from September 7-10
Match 2: India Red vs India Blue from September13-16
Match 3: India Blue vs India Green, September 19-22
Final: September September 25-29
