DC’s bowlers executed their plans meticulously. Vipraj Nigam was particularly impressive, claiming 2 wickets for 27 runs in his 4-over spell, including the crucial scalps of Conway and Dube. Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with a wicket each, applying consistent pressure throughout the innings. CSK eventually managed 158 for 5 in their 20 overs, falling short by 25 runs.
