RR looked in control at 100/1 in the 12th over, but wickets at crucial junctures—especially the dismissals of Nitish Rana and later captain Riyan Parag—slowed their charge. Jaiswal’s valiant 74 off 52 balls kept RR in the hunt, but his wicket in the 18th over, bowled by Avesh Khan, proved to be the turning point. With 9 runs needed off the final over, Avesh held his nerve, picking up two wickets and conceding just 6 runs, sealing a dramatic 2-run win for LSG as RR finished on 178/5.
