Yograj Singh elucidates how Arjun Tendulkar can become the explosive batter
In an interview, Yograj emphasized that Arjun’s batting talent is being overshadowed by his focus on bowling. He believes that under Yuvraj’s expertise and guidance Arjun could transform into a batting powerhouse akin to West Indian T-20 sensation Gayle.
Talking to CricNext, Yograj said “With regards to Arjun, I said focus less on his bowling and more on his batting. But if Yuvraj takes Sachin’s son under his wings for three months, I bet he will become the next Chris Gayle. I think that Arjun should be handed over to Yuvraj for a while”.
Yograj also highlighted Arjun’s century on his Ranji Trophy debut as a testament to his batting prowess suggesting that his skills as a proper batter are not utilized yet.
